On Saturday, February 24th, Redan Liberation City proudly extended its hand in support of Maranatha Christian High School's vibrant Interhouse competition. It was a day filled with spirited competition, camaraderie, and shared values as we joined forces with the Maranatha school community.
At Redan, community engagement isn't just a buzzword; it's a core part of our identity. That's why we were thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to such a meaningful event. Our commitment to fostering enduring partnerships saw us making a small donation to support the competition, reinforcing our dedication to the communities we serve.
In a display of sportsmanship and camaraderie, members of the Redan team even took part in the parents' races. It was a moment of fun and friendly competition, culminating in our very own Russell Ndlovu (Cashier, Redan Liberation City), clinching first place—an achievement that we celebrated wholeheartedly.
Behind the scenes, a team of Redan site managers, including Molly Mutsamvi (Manager, Redan 2nd Street), Tanatswa Fidze (Manager, Redan Belvedere), Knowledge Sangoya (Manager, Redan Mbare), and our supervisor from Belvedere, Simba Murombedzi, worked tirelessly to ensure the day ran smoothly.
As we look back on the highlights of the event, we are reminded of the bonds we've forged and hope that we made a positive impact – no matter how small.
